Job summary

Antwerpen Volkswagen in Maryland is seeking master certified automotive technicians with 3+ years of experience to join a clean, safe shop and help deliver top-quality service. A guaranteed training salary and a five-day work week support your growth in a family-friendly environment.

You’ll perform repairs per dealer standards, diagnose systems with specialized tools, and communicate with the Service Advisor about estimates and required work. ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicates with the Service Advisor regarding additional services and time estimates.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Must have at least 3years of experience as an auto technician
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Quick learner
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• Ability to identify problems quickly
