Job summary
Sonic Automotive's Toyota of Santa Fe is hiring an Automotive Service Technician. Earn $25–$50 per flat-rate hour in a full-time role, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and paid factory training. Benefits include health plan premiums covered, a robust parts inventory, and 401K matching.
Training and mentorship are provided to grow into advanced Toyota diagnostics. The shop is modern and busy, offering ongoing opportunities, advancement toward Toyota Expert, Master, and Diagnostic Technician
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
- Basic diagnostic and repair skills.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to Toyota standards.
- Complete oil changes, tire services, brakes, inspections, and basic diagnostics.
- Learn advanced diagnostic and repair procedures from experienced Toyota technicians.
- Accurately document repairs and maintain quality workmanship.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
- Participate in Toyota training and certification programs.
