Job summary

Mid-State Industrial Maintenance is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion while upholding quality standards.

The role requires ASE certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of experience. You will keep records, communicate with the service advisor, and collaborate with the team to tackle diverse projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE Certification required.
• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Perform regular inspections to identify faults and potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional repairs and completion estimates.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Participate in training sessions to stay up-to-date on new technologies and equipment.
