Job summary

Martin Automotive Group in Dayton-area Subaru dealership is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will perform repairs per repair orders and test components, using diagnostic tools and test drives.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, broad knowledge of repair and maintenance, and good communication with customers and service staff. We offer medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid holidays and weekly pay, with flat rate pay of $20–$30

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
Fast learner with good communication skills.
Good customer service skills and ability to work with a service advisor.
Able to operate diagnostic equipment and possess a valid driver’s license.
Manufacturer certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and test drives.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed services and complete online inspection reports.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
