Lindsay Buick GMC of Warrenton Virginia seeks an Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain a range of vehicle makes. You will troubleshoot issues with up-to-date tools, ensure courteous customer interactions, and complete all required paperwork accurately.

The role offers competitive hourly pay from $27.00 to $45.00, with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, plus benefits and training opportunities at a franchised dealer group in the DC Metro area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer concerns using current tools and systems.
• Maintain courteous interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Stay up to date with technical publications and service communications.
• Ensure safe, quality service is delivered on first visit.
• Inspect vehicles for additional service opportunities per local and factory guidance.
• Participate in factory or in-house training programs.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and attach forms to the RO copy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Group Leader.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and in a clean uniform.
