Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking skilled Service Technicians to diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles and maintain positive relationships with clients. The role includes mentoring trainees, attending factory training, and keeping up with factory bulletins while adhering to safety standards and dealership policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of related experience and training.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA; able to pass background checks, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to a service advisor.
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman.
• Provide labor time estimates to a service advisor.
• Monitor repair time and update the service advisor regularly.
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Complete story and documentation for client repairs.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
• Attend company and factory training and keep current with factory bulletins.
• Follow safety standards and dispose of hazardous waste according to regulations.
