Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Alabama is seeking a General Service Technician to deliver quality service and quick, reliable vehicle care. You will perform oil changes, tire care, fluid checks, and inspections while upholding our safety standards and customer-first approach.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a professional demeanor as you work with technicians and management to keep service bays running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of basic car care is helpful.
• Customer-focused with ability to work in a team.
• Must be mechanically inclined and safety conscious.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass drug/background checks.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks.
• Provide automobile tire care including installation, repair and rotation.
• Inspect and top off engine fluids.
• Lubricate frontend parts as needed.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections using a checklist of potential trouble spots.
• Move and operate customer vehicles into and out of service bays.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and professional conduct.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
