Jiffy Lube - Allied Automotive Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Multicare Technician (Mechanic) to perform preventive maintenance and light mechanical services in a fast-paced shop. You will help customers by communicating recommendations and delivering high-quality, safe service with a team-driven approach.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of automotive experience, understands preventive maintenance, and can handle multiple tasks. ASE A5 is a plus, valid license required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive/mechanical experience required.
• ASE certification(s) a plus (ASE A5 preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes for conventional, synthetic blend, and full synthetic oils.
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and share findings with customers.
• Carry out fluid services: coolant, transmission, differential, power steering fluids.
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and batteries.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, installation, and flat repairs.
• Inspect brakes and related components; assist with service recommendations.
• Assist in diagnosing basic mechanical issues and identify service needs.
• Support in building service quotes based on vehicle condition.
• Deliver high-quality service safely while maintaining standards.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe; provide good customer experience.

Job Title: Multicare Technician (Mechanic)

The Opportunity:

Our Jiffy Lube Automotive Service Technicians / Mechanics play a critical role in delivering high-quality automotive service and ensuring every vehicle is serviced safely, efficiently, and with care. This is a hands-on, skilled position where you will perform a wide range of preventive maintenance and light mechanical services while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will also play a key role in identifying vehicle needs, communicating recommendations, and delivering a strong customer experience. If you are an experienced technician who takes pride in your work and enjoys helping customers keep their vehicles running at their best — this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform oil and filter changes, including conventional, synthetic blend, and full synthetic services

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of previous automotive or mechanical experience required
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and basic automotive systems
• Ability to perform multiple services in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• ASE certification(s) a plus (ASE A5 preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Work in a service shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including bending, lifting, and working with tools and equipment
