Job summary

RoShay Services is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic vehicle services and support ASE-certified technicians in a fast-paced shop in Mississippi. You will learn and grow your automotive skills while contributing to safe, efficient vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities include transporting customers, retrieving parts, operating company vehicles lawfully, and documenting findings with our inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be available Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle services such as oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and safety inspections.
• Work alongside ASE Certified Technicians and receive training to advance automotive skills.
• Safely transport customers and retrieve parts as needed.
• Document findings using company inspection tools and report repairs or safety concerns.

Job description

Role:

As a General Service Technician, you will perform basic vehicle services such as oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, alignments, and safety inspections. Working alongside ASE Certified Technicians, you will receive training to advance your automotive skills and potentially become a certified ASE Technician. Your responsibilities include safely transporting customers, retrieving parts, operating company vehicles lawfully, and maintaining a clean work environment. You will also observe vehicle conditions and report repairs or safety concerns, documenting findings using company inspection tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

Prior automotive experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and motivation are essential. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work Monday through Saturday are required.
