Job summary

Sunroad Automotive is seeking a Kia Service Technician II in the Kearny Mesa area. The role involves performing complex repairs on hybrid and ICE vehicles, diagnosing issues, and communicating repair timelines with Service Advisors and customers.

The technician will drive tasks, maintain records, and work with a team to ensure quality workmanship. Qualified candidates have 3 years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic ability, and a valid CA driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience as automotive technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and California driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with dispatcher to receive repair orders and perform work per standards.
• Identify mechanical problems using inspections and diagnostics; test parts and systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to determine root causes and report findings.
