Knudtsen Chevrolet in Post Falls, ID is seeking Automotive Service Technicians at multiple experience levels. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, perform inspections, road test vehicles, and collaborate with service advisors and parts staff to keep repairs moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Technician, Diesel Technician, Transmission Technician, or similar automotive role preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles per GM/dealership standards.
• Inspect and identify maintenance needs.
• Document diagnostics and repairs clearly.
• Explain repairs and timelines to service advisors.
• Road test to verify concerns.
• Coordinate with Parts for parts availability.
• Use TruVideo to document inspections and explanations.
• Complete repairs efficiently with quality workmanship.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles during repair.
• Stay current with manufacturer training and bulletins.
• Follow safety procedures and keep area organized.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
