Job summary

Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our high-performing team. We value strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to quality, with relocation assistance available for qualified GM-certified technicians.

Sunset offers a remodeled, air-conditioned shop, stable leadership, and a balanced schedule: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, one Saturday every 6 weeks, and Sundays off. We provide extensive training and competitive flat-rate pay, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive service experience; GM dealership experience strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Versatility across all types of work
• Personal tool set
• Valid driver’s license
• Verifiable work history
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting
• Basic computer skills
• Commitment to ongoing training and education
• ASE and/or GM certifications strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a range of vehicle systems to GM standards
• Perform preventive maintenance and component repairs as directed
• Maintain tools and work area in a clean, safe condition
