Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Certification in a related field from a vocational school a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills to relay repair information to customers and colleagues.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Critical thinking, troubleshooting, and hands-on mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles for the dealership as requested by customers.
• Perform basic maintenance such as rotating tires, checking fluids and oil changes.
• Repair or replace worn parts and systems and test for proper operation.
• Follow checklists and diagnose issues using diagnostics and experience.
• Communicate with customers and colleagues to explain repairs and recommendations.
