Job summary

Kelly BMW in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to factory specifications. You will test components, communicate with the Service Advisor, and perform warranty repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate has BMW or European experience, ASE certifications, 5+ years in automotive repair, a valid driver's license, and a strong team attitude. We offer comprehensive benefits, training, PTO, holidays, and long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• BMW experience preferred.
• European experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a technician.
• ASE certifications are required.
• Strong automotive background and teamwork skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• BMW experience preferred
• European experience preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a technician
• ASE certifications
• Strong automotive background

• Willing to submit to a drug screen& background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
