Job summary

Lia Honda Albany is seeking a Level B & C Automotive Technician to join our team in a fast-paced, professional environment that rewards hard-working, reliable, and team-oriented individuals. Our service department features up-to-date equipment including alignment systems and Hunter tire machines.

Compensation range is $50K-$70K with benefits and opportunities for growth. A State Inspection certification is required; ASE certification is recommended.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of service technician experience required.
• Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience required.
• State Inspection certification required.
• ASE certification recommended.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Capable of learning new technology, repair procedures and specs.
• Strong computer skills and a fast-paced work style.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency following dealership processes.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using specialized tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, electrical, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional work and time estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
