Job summary

Telle Tire & Auto Service Inc. in Paris, TN is hiring a General Service Technician to support maintenance, inspection, and minor repairs in a fast-paced shop. You will assist with tire services, oil changes, vehicle inspections, parts handling, and shop support while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; 6 months of automotive experience preferred but not required. ASE certifications and a valid driver's license are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of relevant automotive experience preferred but not required.
• ASE Certifications and a valid driver’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform express services such as tire installation and balancing, oil and fluid changes, battery installation, and wiper/headlight replacement.
• Complete vehicle inspections and warranty checks.
• Conduct digital vehicle inspections and document notes/photos for service records.
• Transport vehicles to and from sublet shops and shuttle customers as needed.
• Pick up and deliver parts from local warehouses and vendors.
• Maintain inventory levels and organize stockrooms.
• Assist other technicians with repair tasks and diagnostics.
• Keep workstations and shop areas clean and organized.
• Attend team meetings and participate in training sessions.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
