Johnson Volvo Cars Charlotte is seeking Automotive Service Technicians at all experience levels to join the service team. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair customer and dealership vehicles, following manufacturer procedures and warranty guidelines.

Qualifications

• Automotive maintenance and/or repair experience appropriate to the position.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle concerns.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Accurate documentation of work performed.
• Basic computer and electronic diagnostic proficiency.
• Dependable, self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and in a service team.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing technical training.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work accurately and efficiently per repair orders and manufacturer procedures.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance, safety concerns, or recommended service.
• Communicate findings and status with Service Advisors.
• Collaborate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Document inspections, repairs, and services performed.
• Follow warranty procedures and proper handling of parts.
• Road-test vehicles as needed to verify concerns and repairs.
• Use manufacturer information and diagnostic tools to complete work.
• Participate in manufacturer and dealership training.
