Job summary

Twin City Dodge, part of the Chariot Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. You’ll diagnose and repair vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and ensure work meets manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.

We value strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, independence with a team mindset, and a commitment to quality. ASE certifications are a plus, and owning your tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician is preferred.
• CDJR/Stellantis experience is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Able to work independently while also being a team player.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Own tools appropriate for the position.
• Professional attitude and dependable work ethic.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns accurately and efficiently.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, engine, transmission, and other automotive repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly document all work performed.
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle concerns and repair needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies.
• Provide professional, high-quality workmanship on every vehicle.
