Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group, with Hare Chevrolet/Isuzu in Indiana, is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine repairs and diagnostics, document work, and communicate with service advisors to ensure timely, high-quality service for customers. The role emphasizes safety, CSI targets, and ongoing training in line with manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Requires strong technical/mechanical skills to perform repairs and diagnostics.
• Must be a team player and able to work with service staff to meet deadlines.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles (engine, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Document work performed and communicate with service advisor for additional work or delays.
• Maintain work quality and CSI goals; conduct road tests when needed to verify repairs.
