Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC Truck is hiring a Service Technician Apprentice in Michigan. This entry-level role trains under a mentor to perform maintenance, assist in diagnostics, and complete safety inspections while developing hands-on automotive skills.

You will learn from experienced professionals, communicate with advisors, and participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs. State of Michigan Trainee Permit is required.

Qualifications

• No prior education required but preferred.
• State of Michigan Trainee Permit (required).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively.
• Basic math and ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect vehicles and report findings to management.
• Communicate with service advisors, mentors, and parts department.
• Perform maintenance and repair work as outlined on repair orders.
• Document all work performed and recommended services.
