Job summary

Tire Pros & Wheel Experts is seeking a Service Technician to perform automotive service repairs and help maintain a clean, organized service department. You will work with customers to explain repairs and ensure satisfaction.

The role requires good communication, proficiency with automotive tools, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Training and advancement opportunities are offered in a supportive, team-focused shop environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, associates and management.
• Ability to use automotive tools including impact gun and sockets, standard/metric wrench and socket set, screwdriver, and oil filter tools.
• Lift up to 60 pounds for portions of the workday and occasionally more as needed.

Job Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for automotive service repairs while ensuring high customer satisfaction. In addition, the Service Technician helps maintain a clean environment in the service department.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, associates and management
• Ability to use automotive tools including impact gun and sockets, standard/metric wrench and socket set, screwdriver, and oil filter tools
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/ carry up to 60 pounds, and push / pull up to 60 pounds up to 2/3 of the workday.
• Must also have the ability to lift/carry over 60 pounds and push/pull over 60 pounds up to 1/3 of the workday.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Automotive courses in High School or Vocational Tech training
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Preferred certification UTI, NASCAR or ASE certification
