Moss Bros. Auto Group in Southern California is seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform repairs per dealership standards and diagnose complex vehicle systems. You’ll test-drive vehicles, verify components with diagnostic tools, and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.

The role requires ASE certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service skills. A dynamic, team-oriented workplace with opportunities for training and growth is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and ASE certification is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical repair skills are necessary.
• Excellent customer service and solid computer basics are essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs as outlined on the repair order efficiently and to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify systems.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional repairs and time estimates.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

• Pay range for this position is $50,000-$225,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
