Job summary

Tire Discounters in Richmond, VA is seeking a Service Technician to perform automotive repairs and routine maintenance, including brakes, steering, alignments, and diagnostics.

You will work with a friendly, family-owned team, use your own tools, and deliver a WOW experience to customers through safe, high-quality workmanship. This role includes Saturdays and the chance to grow with our pay plan that rewards performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
• Ability to operate automotive machines and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).

Position Overview

As a Service Technician at Tire Discounters, you'll perform various automotive services, including shocks, struts, steering, alignments, brakes, transmissions, and routine maintenance. You'll be key to ensuring the success of daily operations at your location.

Compensation

Pay: $50,000 - $175,000+ annually (hourly + commission).
