The role requires proven experience in automotive repair, strong knowledge of vehicle systems, and the ability to read manuals and diagnostic reports. ASE is preferred but not required, and a valid driver's license is needed for the Pittsfield location.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections and repair of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and tune-ups.
• Use specialized tools and computerized diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle conditions and necessary repairs.
• Keep accurate records of labor and parts used during repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive technology, systems, and repair procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic reports.
