Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover Nashville is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our family‑oriented dealership team. You will perform repairs, test-drive vehicles, and diagnose systems using our diagnostic tools and service equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to learn modern repair technology, service procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clean/acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive vehicles (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems).
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional recommended work and estimated timelines.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Verify repairs through testing and test-driving.
