Job summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking Automotive Service Technicians of all experience levels to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a busy dealership service department in Wisconsin. You will diagnose, inspect, and repair a wide range of vehicles while maintaining detailed repair records and communicating recommendations to service management.

We offer guaranteed 40+ hours per week, paid training and ASE certification reimbursement, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company

Qualifications

• All experience levels welcome — from entry-level technicians to seasoned pros
• Entry-level: high school diploma/GED or automotive technical school training (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Experienced: 2+ years of automotive repair or technician experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills (or willingness to learn)
• Commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership service department
• ASE Certifications (one or more)
• GM / General Motors brand experience
• Previous dealership service department experience
• Advanced diagnostic and electrical repair expertise

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, belts, hoses, tires, and other key systems
• Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes and tire rotations
• Maintain accurate, detailed repair records and communicate recommendations to service management
• Deliver high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer and dealership standards
