You will perform diagnostic testing, servicing, and repair of vehicles using scan tools and vehicle software. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Automotive technician training program or 1 year of experience.
• ASE certification or factory certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Help establish service center procedures and track repair status.
• Perform routine maintenance: tire rotations, oil changes, brake pad replacements.
• Inspect all vehicle systems including engine, steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Communicate repair information clearly to staff and customers.

Job Summary

We are looking for the right Automotive Service Technician to join our team.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for general testing, servicing, and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using diagnostic scan tools, automotive computer software and have general knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise and tools to evaluate vehicle malfunctions


• Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols


• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements


• Conduct accurate vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, Steering, Suspension, and brakes


• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business


• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to staff & customers in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

• A Valid driver's license with a clean record


• High school diploma or GED is required


• An Automotive associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program or 1 year of experience


• Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or other Factory Certifications


• Strong customer service and communications skills are required


• Maintain an average productivity level of 80% or higher
