Job summary

Hiley Hyundai of Burleson is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician who excels at accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and getting the job done right the first time.

You will diagnose Hyundai and other brands, use factory scan tools, and document conditions and recommended repairs while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This role offers competitive pay, bonus opportunities, and opportunities for factory training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on Hyundai vehicles.
• Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC, and advanced systems.
• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Utilize factory diagnostic equipment and repair information.
• Identify root causes, not just replace parts.
• Complete repairs efficiently with high-quality workmanship.
• Perform inspections and document vehicle conditions and recommended repairs.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts Department.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
• Follow Hyundai factory procedures and dealership quality standards.

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN - DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR (AIR CONDITIONED SHOP)

Hiley Hyundai of Burleson is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and getting the job done right the first time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on Hyundai vehicles
• Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC, and advanced vehicle systems
• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Utilize factory diagnostic equipment and repair information
• Identify the root cause of vehicle concerns- not just replace parts
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Perform inspections and document vehicle conditions and recommended repairs
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the Parts Department
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow Hyundai factory procedures and dealership quality standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experienced Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Hyundai experience preferred, but experienced technicians from other brands are encouraged to apply
• Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic ability
• Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and service information
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently while being a team player

COMPENSATION

$20-$50 per flat-rate hour, depending on experience and skill level

Additional compensation may be available for highly qualified diagnostic technicians.
