Victory Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Mechanic in Beckley, WV to service and repair vehicles to factory standards, including pre-delivery checks for new vehicles to ensure peak customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, some post-secondary automotive training, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

ASE certification is a plus. This full-time position offers a $10,000 signing bonus paid in installments and competitive hourly

• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Automotive Service Mechanic services and repairs vehicles following all established standards and procedures. In addition, they may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer. The Service Technician must deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has experience which may include: a high school diploma or GED, some post-secondary automotive training, dealer-level or large facility experience, and/or any additional certifications, such as certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. They must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

Compensation

• $20.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
• $10,000 signing bonus will be paid in installments as follows: $2,500 upon hire, $2,500 after turning 500 hours, and the remaining $5,000 upon completion of one year of employment.
