Job summary

Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria is seeking automotive service technicians for a nationwide search. We offer relocation cost coverage and a signing bonus up to $5,000, with $2,500 after six months and the remainder after the 12-month anniversary.

Our brand-new state-of-the-art service center features top-tier equipment, lifts, jacks, a locker room, and an exceptional break room. Toyota and Lexus experience is a plus, but we welcome those ready for high performance and excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair on various makes/models.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer concerns using provided tools.
• Greet customers in the Service Drive and assist with inquiries.
• Stay up-to-date with technical bulletins and required documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate repair orders and proper shop notes.

Automotive Service Technician and Used Car Technician "Nationwide Search", Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria is seeking automotive service technicians, we offer relocation cost, plus we offer up to $5000 signing bonus to qualified candidates with Management review and approval. The candidate will receive at there 6 month anniversary a $2,500.00 Bonus and upon completion of there 12 Month they will receive the remainder of the $5,000.00 total.

Note: If the candidate does not complete any portion (tenure) of the bonus requirements, they will forfeit any or all of the bonus.

Lindsay Lexus has just completed our brand new state of the art service center. This is the nicest and one of the largest service centers on the east coast. We offer all brand new state of the art equipment, lifts, jacks, locker room and an incredible break room. We are seeking an experienced tech to join our team. When you become a tech at Lindsay Lexus you are at the top of the game. We offer the highest pay and the best benefits the industry has to offer. Toyota and Lexus experience is certainly a plus, however if you are currently in a highline store, or have what it takes to be in highline, and can meet the demand and pace of excellence then we would like to talk to you.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Correctly troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools provided
• Ensure that common courtesy is shown toward all customers you come into contact with
• While in the vicinity of the Service Drive, act as a secondary customer greeter to customers that have not yet been acknowledged
• Keep up to date with all technical publications, Service Comm, and Assist terminal operations, to include clocking on and off repair orders per dealer and factory requirements.
• Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe and honorable vehicle service is delivered as promised the first time
• Address all original customer concerns before moving onto additional sales
• Inspect every vehicle for additional sales opportunities ensuring that the vehicle is being maintained to the local area and factory recommendation
• Ensure the customers vehicle is returned as clean, or cleaner than when it arrived
• Participate in any Factory, or in-house sponsored training programs offered to you
• Complete all paperwork completely and correctly, to ensure all required shop notes, punch times and bulletins are attached to the RO hard copy and DMS
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM or Team Leader
• Always come to work on time, ready to work, and in a clean uniform

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair service on various vehicle makes and models.
• Proven track record

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to exercise good judgement
• Valid State drivers license and good driving record

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have technical aptitude. ASE certification - preferred.
• Technical or trade school degree a big plus.
