Job summary

Midway Chevrolet in North Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, from cars to SUVs. The role focuses on routine maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, and clear communication with customers.

Candidates should have mid-level repair experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and a valid driver's license. ASE certification is a plus and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven mid-level automotive service experience
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• ASE certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform engine, transmission, and drive train repairs and replacements.
• Test and inspect vehicle systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Communicate with customers to explain necessary repairs and provide estimates for services.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.
