Job summary

Jiffy Lube is seeking Service Technicians in California to perform our Signature Service oil changes and routine maintenance in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop. Our program includes comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University and offers opportunities such as Ace Accreditation of up to 32 college credits upon completion.

Benefits include Health Insurance and Birthday Pay. Qualified candidates should be able to operate shop equipment, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate shop equipment such as overhead and floor-mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machines, air conditioner service machines, radiator service machines, hand tools, and basic shop equipment.
• Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds.
• Must push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil change.
• Conduct a 17-point Report On the Condition of the visual inspection.
• Service filters, light bulbs, wipers, tires rotations and other minor services.
• Flush and fill coolant, transmission, power steering, and other vital fluids.
• Perform daily shop clean-up and maintain tools and equipment.
