Job summary

Roush Auto Group in Westerville, OH is seeking an entry-level Automotive Service Porter to support the service drive and shop, greet customers, help with vehicle valets, and assist technicians with basic diagnostics and inventory organization. This full-time position is based at the Westerville dealership.

Work Monday through Thursday 6a-2p and alternating Friday & Saturday 8a-6p. The role offers benefits including health, dental & vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, disability and life

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks including driving, standing for extended periods, frequently walking, working in inclement weather conditions
• Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 4 points and no history of reckless driving. (Preferably 18 years of age)
• Consent to a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers with a “warm” greeting when they arrive in the service drive
• Providing each vehicle with protective floor and seat covering
• Communicating with Roush teammates and valeting the vehicle to a designated parking area
• Complete tire pressure checks, battery tests, check / fill fluids (when needed), replace windshield wiper inserts, and replace light bulbs
• Complete routine cleaning in the service drive and the service shop
• Complete car washes on customer and company – owned vehicles
• Complete Pick – up / drop – off customer vehicles, as needed
• Complete parts inventory purchases at local dealerships
• Transfer inventory
• Participate in deep clean projects with our maintenance team
