Job summary

Sheehy Lexus of Richmond is seeking an experienced Service Lane Manager to lead a high-performing service team in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on exceptional customer service, efficient workflows, and clear repair recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience and training.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the service department while supervising service advisors to meet objectives.
• Train Advisors to greet customers with hospitality and respect.
• Train Advisors to present clear repair options to customers.
• Manage store workflow effectively and efficiently.
• Guide Advisors to sell services honestly and effectively.
• Maintain a positive team atmosphere at all times.
• Use the phone professionally to build long-term relationships with customers.
• Set monthly and yearly business goals.
• Act professionally and reflect company integrity.
• Direct and participate in customer service activities as workloads dictate.
• Ensure all work is performed to specifications.
• Assist other employees as needed.

Responsibilities

• Managing the service department while supervising service advisors to ensure they meet the service objectives and expectations of the role
• Train Advisors to greet every customer that enters our facility with hospitality and the highest level of respect.
• Train Advisors to present the best solution to properly repair our customer's vehicles in a way that is easy for them to understand.
• Manage the store's workflow effectively and efficiently.
• Train Advisors to possess the ability to sell our services consistently and effectively without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
• Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
• Always use the phone professionally to create a long‑term relationship between the store, yourself, and the customer.
• Prepare business goals for each month and for the year.
• Act in a professional manner that reflects the quality organization you represent. Always project an attitude of honesty and integrity.
• Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing customer service activities as dictated by workload.
• Ensure that all work is performed to the proper specifications.
• Assist other employees as needed.

Requirements

• Five years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Graduation from an industry‑recognized training program is also preferred but not required.
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience or similar DMS proficiency preferred
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Able to pass a pre‑employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver's license
