Job summary

American Tire Depot is seeking an Automotive Service Manager in Rosemead to lead the service team, coach technicians and advisors, and ensure top‑tier customer care. You will bridge the gap between mechanics and customers by explaining repairs, recommending services, and confidently closing sales.

You will partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, scheduling and compliance, while driving store performance and maintaining safety and efficiency to build loyalty and trust.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong background in service sales (tires, brakes, maintenance, or mechanical).
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service team — train, coach, and motivate techs & advisors to perform at their best.
• Bridge between mechanics and customers: explain repairs, recommend services, and close sales with confidence.
• Drive store performance by hitting and exceeding sales & service targets.
• Partner with Store Manager on daily operations, scheduling, and compliance.
• Keep the shop efficient, safe, and aligned with company standards.
