Job summary

Five Star Automotive Group is seeking a Service Director to lead and own the service department with entrepreneurial passion. The role requires managing staff, budgets, and vendor partnerships to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee scheduling, hiring, and technician development while partnering with schools and OEMs to recruit top talent. We offer a generous compensation package, sign-on bonus up to $10,000, full benefits, relocation assistance, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of dealership service management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of the service department.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and staffing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee schedules and pay plans.
• Staffing and hiring for all service department positions.
• Attend manager meetings and conduct service department meetings.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Maintain service customer pay gross profit growth.
• Maintain technician proficiency and recruit via partnerships with technical schools.
• Partner with OEM and other third party vendors.
• Motivate, train, develop and reward employees.
• Provide a safe workplace for staff and customers.
