Job summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking Apprentice Automotive Service Technicians in Davenport, IA. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, perform maintenance, and ensure quality workmanship. Must have 1+ years wrenching experience and own tools; ASE/OEM certifications are a plus.

A valid driver’s license is required, and paid training with certification reimbursement is offered. We provide a full benefits package, daily pay options, and a fast-growing team where you can advance with experience.

Qualifications

• ASE and OEM certifications/training preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• You must bring your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles and identify mechanical or electrical issues.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to determine root causes.
• Repair or replace parts such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension systems.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations.
• Ensure repairs are done to a high standard and on time.
• Communicate recommendations for repairs or maintenance to the service manager.

What You'll Do:

• Perform thorough inspections of new/used vehicles and identify any mechanical or electrical issues
• Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of any issues
• Repair or replace parts as necessary, such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
• Communicate with the service manager and provide recommendations for any repairs or maintenance work that may be needed

Requirements
