Job summary

Subaru of Auburn (SOFA) in Auburn, WA is hiring Lot Porters. Responsibilities include keeping the lot tidy, organizing inventory, and assisting customers with valet parking as needed. This full-time role requires reliability and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience preferred.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle and park vehicles in tight spaces.
• Valid WA Driver's License with clean driving record required.

• Must be capable of bending, twisting, crouching and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep the lot organized and tidy, reserving parking for customers.
• Arrange new and pre-owned inventory in neat, straight lines.
• Take initiative and work independently to support dealership operations.
• Interact with customers to assist with valet parking as needed.

• Paid Time Off (PTO): All new employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law. What you’ll do

• Keep the lot tight at all times, retaining available parking for customers
• Arrange all new and pre-owned inventory in organized, straight and immaculate lines
• Take the lead and think outside the box
• Work without supervision and still give 100% effort
• Interact with customers to assist with valet parking their vehicles when needed

Skills

• Walk and stand for an entire shift in inclement weather, including extreme heat or cold
• Automotive experience preferred
• Have a track record of consistent attendance
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle and park many types of vehicles sometimes in tight spaces
• Reliable transportation to workMust be able to bend, twist, crouch and reach. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Valid WA Driver's License with a good driving record required
• Model a strong work ethic and exhibit a desire to grow
