Kunes Auto Group in Illinois is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing dealership team. In this customer-focused role, you’ll help guests find the right new or pre-owned vehicle by building relationships and presenting options.

This position offers unlimited earning potential with base pay plus uncapped commission, monthly bonuses, paid training, and clear paths for career growth across 40+ dealerships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commission-based sales experience is REQUIRED.
• Previous experience in automotive sales is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the vehicle purchasing process.
• Build relationships through exceptional customer service.
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right vehicle.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Explain features, financing options, warranties, and ownership benefits.
• Negotiate and complete vehicle sales professionally.
• Maintain customer relationships and follow up.
• Collaborate with sales managers, finance, and service teams.

• Monthly Volume Bonus Opportunities
• Unlimited Earning Potential
• TOP producers earn up to $120,000/yr! First Year Average is $50,000-$75,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the vehicle purchasing process
• Build relationships through exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Commissioned Sales experience is REQUIRED
• Previous experience in automotive sales is preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
