Job summary

Napleton's Chevrolet of Wayzata in Minnesota is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, understand needs and help them pick a vehicle that fits. You will follow up, explain financing options and vehicle features, and deliver the car while ensuring a solid customer experience.

This role demands excellent communication and a customer-first mindset. No experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required for this role.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills are expected.
• Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic in a team environment.
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who enter the dealership and help them select a vehicle.
• Provide timely follow up and maintain relationships with customers.
• Explain product performance, options and benefits to prospects and describe equipment.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and ensure they understand features, warranty and paperwork.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Deliver vehicles to customers. The delivery process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty
• Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s service department.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
