Job summary

AutoZone’s Retail Sales Associate role delivers WOW! Customer Service by helping customers locate the right parts, offering expert advice, and supporting store operations to keep the team running smoothly.

In this role you’ll work with a collaborative team, promote products and promotions to meet sales goals, maintain organized inventory, and use diagnostic tools when assisting customers with vehicle questions. Flexible schedules and safety procedures apply; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing retail experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services and promotions to meet sales goals and store metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow POS procedures and loss prevention policies.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to assist customers with vehicle issues and propose solutions.
