Job summary

The Master Mechanics Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Technician/Mechanic for full-time, on-site work in Biglerville, PA. The ideal candidate will diagnose vehicle problems, perform quality repairs, and clearly explain what is needed, while maintaining a clean and professional shop environment.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive mechanical repairs on passenger cars and light trucks, using diagnostic tools, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical repair experience on passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems.
• Clear communication to explain repairs and safety concerns to customers/managers.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repair and maintenance on passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks.
• Diagnose drivability and mechanical issues accurately.
• Complete repairs including brakes, steering, engine, cooling, A/C, electrical, exhaust, fuel and ignition, transmission and drivetrain.
• Inspect vehicles and communicate necessary repairs and safety concerns to customers or management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and use diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Road-test vehicles when necessary and perform Pennsylvania State Security and Emissions inspections as authorized.
