AAA Club Alliance in Enfield, CT is seeking an A-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose complex issues, perform advanced repairs, and set the standard for quality in the shop.

The role offers a $2,500 signing bonus, with pay ranging from $28.93 to $44.90 per hour, plus a productivity bonus and ASE certification sponsorship. Full-time schedule includes 5 days/week with Sundays off; training and advancement opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as Automotive Technician with advanced diagnostic skills.
• ASE Master Technician or Dealership certifications preferred (or equivalent with ability to certify within 12 months – paid by AAA).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings, plus authorization to work in the USA.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, and HVAC.
• Maintain high technical proficiency and continually expand skills.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; ensure repairs meet manufacturer procedures or industry best practices.
• Train and mentor other technicians and service staff.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

$2,500 SIGNING BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATE

What We Offer

Competitive Pay: $28.93 – $44.90/hour flat rate. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

Billable Hours Guarantee: 30-hour minimum per week.

Productivity Bonus: Opportunity to earn a $250 – $550 bonus every two weeks, based on productivity and performance.

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week (Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays are often required). Sundays off every week, plus one other day off based on business needs.

Training & Certification Support: We pay for your ASE certifications and recertifications!

Your Impact as an Automotive Repair Technician A

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repair work, including Engine Repair, Transmission Repair, Suspension & Steering, Brake Systems (including ABS/traction control), Electrical Systems, and Heating & Air Conditioning.
• Maintain a high level of technical expertise and continuously expand your skills.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer procedures or industry best practices.
• Train and mentor other technicians and service associates.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 6 years of experience as an Automotive Technician with advanced diagnostic skills.
• ASE Master Technician or Dealership certifications preferred (or equivalent experience with ability to certify within 12 months – paid for by AAA).
• ASE L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills for mentoring and collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).
