Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive Repair Assistant Manager to oversee the Car Care Center’s service functions, mentor technicians, and drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will balance hands-on automotive work with business oversight in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on service quality, safety compliance, and active involvement in sales and parts coordination, with opportunities for training and career growth within AAA’s Car Care network.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive repair.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid operator’s license.
• Satisfactory pre‑ and post‑employment screening results.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors Repair Technicians and Service Advisors.
• Ensures repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and industry practices; retest as needed.
• Communicates with customers and explains repair recommendations for approvals.
• Manages store operations, creates estimates and work orders, assists at sales counter.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and Hazmat regulations; maintains clean, safe shop.
• Completes repair paperwork and reviews orders with customers to confirm completion.
• Keeps informed about ACA offerings to enhance customer experience and drive repeat business.
