Job summary

Goken, headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, is seeking a Reliability Test Engineer to support automotive test and development activities. You will validate vehicle systems and subsystems to meet durability targets and work with cross-functional teams to implement countermeasures.

Responsibilities include leading test activities, driving objective and subjective tests, using data acquisition tools, benchmarking, tuning vehicles, and reporting results. Travel to client/test sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Specialties: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 yrs experience using Data Acquisition tools.
• Formula SAE, BAJA SAE, EcoCar, Mini BAJA SAE experience.
• Hands on experience with wrenching and vehicle instrumentation.
• Experience using CATIA V5/V6 for basic fixture design and layout reviews.
• Test track / driving experience required for test driving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the engineering test activities by applying engineering principles and test plans to test parts/components.
• Drive objective and subjective tests by driving and assessing performance.
• Utilize data acquisition tools to collect data, analyze and report results.
• Conduct vehicle benchmarking for target setting.
• Support vehicle tuning and instrument vehicles for objective tests.
• Coordinate with design and CAE teams to report results and develop countermeasures.
• Travel to client/test sites as required.
