Job summary

Anderson Kia in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a thoughtful, well-rounded Automotive Service Technician to join our reconditioning team. You take pride in your work and view the auto industry as more than a job, bringing value to our dealership.

You will diagnose and repair vehicle systems, provide estimates for additional work, explain findings to service advisors and customers, and test vehicles to ensure all necessary repairs are completed in line with dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance & repair orders with efficiency & in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose & repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Provide estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses & required repairs to service advisors & customers
• Inspect & test vehicles so that necessary repairs can be made
