Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking an Automotive Reconditioning Technician to overhaul and renovate vehicles to restore exterior appearance. You will inspect, identify cosmetic repairs, blend colors, and apply finishes to achieve a high-quality result.

The role requires operating spray equipment, power tools, and related tasks, prepping panels for paint, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while communicating issues to the Reconditioning Manager. Full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, rebuild, and renovate vehicles to restore exterior condition.
• Inspect and identify cosmetic repairs per DriveTime standards.
• Perform color blending and color matching; apply finishes.
• Operate spray-dying equipment, power tools, fillers, stitching, sanding.
• Mix dyes to specified color using charts or premixed containers.
• Prep vehicles and panels for paint (sanding, filling, taping).
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and daily inspections.
• Review issues with Cosmetic Associate and Reconditioning Manager.
• Adhere to DriveTime guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
