Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a quick lube technician in Asheville, NC. You will inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and thoroughly, with opportunities for advancement through dedication and performance.

Responsibilities include inspections, fluid checks, filter replacements, and communicating needed services to advisers. Must have a valid driver's license and basic automotive knowledge; prior helper/apprentice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Familiarity with automotive repair/maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual transmissions.
• Prior experience as a technician's helper or apprentice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform multipoint inspections.
• Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors.
• Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles with hand- or compressed-air grease guns.
• Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount.
• Add water to radiator and battery.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs.
• Follow company policies, safety standards and codes of conduct.
• Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and chemicals.
