Rock Hill Ford is seeking an entry-level Automotive Technician to join our service team and grow with the dealership.

You will learn and perform basic maintenance tasks, inspections, and routine servicing while delivering excellent customer service and support to our customers. This role offers paid training, health options, and opportunities for career advancement within Krause Auto Group.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Check oil levels, tire pressures and fluid levels.
• Assist with oil drain plug and oil filter changes.
• Inspect, repair and service brakes, tires, alignments and related components.
• Provide excellent customer service with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Perform maintenance on vehicles including but not limited to Brakes, Tires, Alignments, Flushes, ETC.
• Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first

Qualifications

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (a Plus)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
