Job summary

Henderson Group Recruiting seeks a Quality Engineer to support automotive quality functions, perform audits of design documentation, and ensure compliance with customer and company quality records.

The role involves using AIAG tools, managing supplier and internal quality issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. A Bachelor's degree and recent automotive experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (BS or BA).
• Recent experience in Automotive Industry.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Systems.
• Experience with APQP.
• Exceptional communications skills.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
• Proven technical skills on product and process.
• Experience in Program launch with an automotive manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Utilise core AIAG quality tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC) to resolve quality concerns.
• Manage Internal and External quality concerns, Fast Track Response, and pareto analysis of defects.
• Act as customer support and investigate customer complaints.
• Assists with continuous improvement activities, such as SPC and capability studies.
• Assists with IATF 16949 activities.
• Create and maintain approved PPAP status with all Customers.
• Reviews and decides the disposition of products placed on hold.
• Organizes necessary rework/sorting operations.
• Creates, reviews, and updates job books, to ensure proper documentation to set standards and customer product specifications.
